Ghana's all time leading scorer Asamoah Gyan has advised young Ghanaian strikers to always have a private conversation with their midfield teammates before they go into any game.
The former captain of the Black Stars in an interview on Soccer Chat on GHOne TV stated that; "When you’re going into a game, call the midfielders and tell them how you want the ball to be placed for you.
“At least one to two of such chances might work. If you do not communicate before the game, things may go wrong during the game,” Asamoah Gyan pointed out.
The former Udinese and Sunderland FC marksman went ahead to reveal that he enjoyed playing with Stephen Appiah, Laryea Kingston, Kwadwo Asamoah and Sulley Muntari because they both understood how he moved and how the ball should be passed to him upfront.
