London-born of Ghanaian decent, Antoine Semenyo has been included in the Black Stars final 26 man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which starts in six days from now in Qatar.
The Bristol City forward's impressive and consistent performance in the Championship earned him a spot in coach Otto Addo's provisional list and has subsequently made the final cut in an announcement which was made today.
The 22 year old contributed to six goals so far in the 2022/23 season, having scored four with two assists so far in all competitions.
Ghana have been housed in Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup alongside 2016 European champions Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
The Black Stars will begin their 2022 World Cup campaign with Portugal on 24th November, 2022 before playing against Uruguay and South Korea.
