Black Queens shot-stopper, Kerrie McCarthy has donated hugely to her school - Kumasi Academy Senior High, on the morning of Friday, May 17, in a beautiful presentation which was done at the school administration.

The Kumasi Sports Academy goalkeeper donated two set of jerseys to the school- to be used by the football team for their subsequent tasks including three footballs and also two volley balls, since the school practice variety of sports.

The enterprising goalie after this great kind gesture, disclosed she is doing this mainly to give back to the school for their unending support from day one and has urged other old students (Akunin) to also come to the aid of the school in terms of sports

The Headmaster and Head of Sports, received the items on behalf of the school and expressed a profound gratitude to the national goalie for remembering the school and added they hope to see her reach the highest echelon of the game.

Kerrie McCarthy is currently in her final year at KUMACA, and will be taking part in the upcoming West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), which commences in months time.

The 23-year-old has been a consistent member of the Black Queens squad throughout the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations and 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers campaign.
