Former Asante Kotoko gaffer, Charles Kwabla Akonnor has denied holding talks to takeover Hearts of Oak coaching job.
C.K Akonnor has been out of job since his sack from the Black Stars.
Hearts of Oak's are currently without a coach since dismissing Samuel Boadu.
David Ocloo, newly appointed assistant coach, has been made the interim head coach of the senior team.
He led Hearts of Oak in their CAF Confederations Cup exit to AS Bamako on 3:1 aggregate.
The Ghanaian giants are currently on the lookout for a new gaffer before the suspended betPawa Premier League resumes, if it will before the mandatory World Cup break next month.
The 48-year-old dismisses reports linking him to Hearts of Oak.
"It is not true that I am being considered for the Hearts of Oak job because no one has spoken to me on that," he told Graphic Sports.
He previously had stints with Ashanti Gold, Asante Kotoko, Hasaccas and Dreams FC.
