The young central defender who has been stupendous in the newly formatted second tier football in Ghana has aggrandized his reputation not only as an experienced young player but also as the captain of the club this season.
The 18-year-old is one player that has played every single minute in the newly structured GN division one league in the country since last season numbering 45 games thus far for clubs that have participated in the league within that period.
Umar-Farouk Issah Fabio has shown much awe of taking the next step in his career though he feels he can do better this season than what he did for his club last season.
"It hasn't been bad yet not as good as last season. It boils down to combination of players. The player I started the season with is a new player but the one I played with last season has been with me for two seasons and we also play together at home too.
However, the versatile defender who can also play as a defensive midfielder thinks he can only reach his targeted height with hard work and fervent prayers.
"I want to be in the next level of my career next season. It will take hard work and fervent prayers."
