Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu says the Cranes of Uganda national team coach MilutiSredojevic will pose threat for the Black Stars team in group E for the final round of the 2018 Mundial qualifiers in the African Zone.

The local Black Stars manager believes the Serbian coach and his team will be tough customers to deal with having been pitted in the same group alongside Egypt and Congo.

The 43-year-old has been terrified in facing a coach which he believed has gotten an in-depth knowledge regarding his side's formation and will try to exploit their wicknesses in causing problems to his outfit when they both meet for the group encounters.

Konadu further emphasised that, Ghana should not keep their focus on Egypt only as the rest of the teams in the group are also capable of clinching the solitary spot out of the group for the World Cup tournament in Russia.

"All of our concentration now is on Egypt, but teams like Uganda and Congo can also cause a stir in the group," the former Wa All Stars gaffer told Accra-based Happy FM in an interview.

"A team like Uganda for instance, their coach Milutin Sredojevic knows the Black Stars team very, very well.I quite remember when i met him in South Africa before our game against Egypt for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, all that he told me in our discussion prior to the game came to pass as if by miracle,"

"Before then,he knows the Egyptians national team very well as he had played against them in two friendly games.Again, he told me point blank that if we don't do our home work very well, the Pharoahs will come and score an away goal which will make things difficult for us in the return leg.By then;we didn't know that we're going to beat them by such a cracking scoreline which is [6-1] in Kumasi," he recalled.

"In fact, all the tip-off he gave me in our meeting in the hotel prior to the game in Kumasi happened exactly," he added.

The 43-year-old continued: "I know very well that, now that he [Micho Sredojevic] is going to face us in the same group; he'll try and cause a lot of problem to us because he already knows our strength and wicknesses as he'll try and exploit them in most of his game plans to his advantage. So, we must be very cautious against him and we shouldn't keep our focus on Egypt alone as all the teams in the group can qualify for the tourney."

The Black Stars will host Uganda for their first group game tie in October.
