Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC has confirmed their participation in the group stages of the CAF Confederarions Cup.
Medeama Sporting Club has confirmed their continuation of the CAF Confederations Cup amidst reports of them pulling out of the competition due to financial problems.
The Tarkwa based side is now set to travel to East Africa via a transit with Kenya Airlines for their crunch encounter,but Chief Executive Officer of the Club,Mr James Essilife confirms their departure to Lumumbashi.
''We have not had any support so far,but once we accepted to participate, we must continue.'' he told kickgh.
The reigning FA Cup defending champions will honour their first game in the group stages of the Confederations Cup with DR Congo side T.P Mazembe and Mr.Essilife insists the club are in for a better performance with the former African Champions.
''Lack of support wont affect our performance in any way,people should trust us,we will surprise Africa.''
