KAS Eupen's Mubarak Wakaso will not go to the Qatar World Cup which kick starts on November 20, after being left off Ghana's 26-man squad list.
Ghana boss Otto Addo has selected his final squad for Ghana's World Cup campaign in Qatar, with the majority of the players being dropped has sent strong shivering into the spine of teeming followers of the senior national team.
Despite the 26-man pick, there is still no place for KAS Eupen's Wakaso who has been overlooked for six other midfielders who has been consistent for their various teams.
Wakaso's omission will come as a surprise to many - looking at his long history playing for the national side - but his exclusion has been in the making for a number of months now.
Ghana will kick start their World Cup campaign on November 24 against Portugal and will neck-it-down with South Korea and Uruguay to wrap up their group stage fixtures.
