Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo thanked Ghana Football Association(GFA) President Kurt Okraku for allowing him to select the players together with his technical team.
Ghana announced a 55 man squad some weeks ago before Otto Addo named the final squad today, 14th November in Accra.
Unfortunately, Jojo Wollacot and Richard Ofori couldn't make the squad after picking injuries.
Danlad Ibrahim and Afriyie Barnieh made it to the World Cup as the only players playing in the Ghanaian top-flight.
Ghana are in the same group with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea at the mundial.
Speaking during the squad announcement, Otto Addo said praised Kurt Okraku for allowing him and his technical team to make the selection for the World Cup.
"Thank you to the GFA President for allowing me do my work," he said.
"For me, that's the most important thing. To be able to make decision myself, of course alongside the technical team."
