National Women’s League week nine will kick off this weekend with interesting ties.
With both leaders of the zones keen on remaining on their position, the gap therefore between themselves and second place will not guarantee them that wish but a win in this weekend’s match.
In the Northern zone, Lepo ladies after losing their first match in the second round will travel to face two times losing finalist Fabulous Ladies at the Wesley College Park on Sunday, where referee Christine Zigah will be the center woman.
At the Sunyani Coronation Park, Fulera Barmie will officiate the match between Prisons Ladies and Subayo Golden Ladies. Real upper Ladies who have had only one win so far will face Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Wa Stadium on Saturday, with Berikisu Salifu as the referee.
The last match for the zone will see Northern ladies play host to Ashtown Ladies, a match that will be revenge on the part of the home side. Coach Sumani Bashirudeen tells kickgh.com they’ve done their homework and they are ready for the three maximum points.

Eugenia Asigri will handle the match between Hasaacas ladies and Bafana Ladies at the Essipong Sports Stadium on Saturday, while Juliet Afriyie officiates Police Ladies against Halifax ladies at the Tesano Police Depot Park.
The match between Samaria Ladies and Soccer Intellectuals will be officiated by Julliet Appiah at the ATTC Park. Lady Strikers battles Immigration Ladies at the Robert Mensah Stadium, where Theresa Bremansu will control the game. All matches will kick off at 3:00pm.
