Black Stars coach Otto Addo has revealed the Ghanaian players he looked up to during his playing days.

Addo in an interview with TV3 disclosed that Abedi Pele and Anthony Yeboah were his favorite players while climbing his football career ladder in the 90s.

 
Ghana's legendary skipper Abedi Pele had a glowing career, winning many individual and team trophies including the UEFA Champions League and the Africa Cup of Nations.
 
Yeboah also had a wonderful career, tormenting defenders with his movement and supreme finishing.
 
“Abedi Pele is my favorite Black Stars player of all time. When I was young I used to watch Ghana football and also watch Ghanaian footballers in Europe,” Addo told TV3
 
“He was one of the players I looked up to. Anthony Yeboah as well. These are my favorite players,”
 
The Black Stars has been housed in Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay .
