Match Day 6 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League will come off as scheduled this weekend with current table toppers - undefeated Aduana Stars - having the opportunity away from their base on Sunday to put some wide separation between themselves and the rest of the top tier sides as enterprising RTU welcome them to the Aliu Mahama Stadium in a fierce clash with the winner retaining the undefeated bragging rights for however long.
Downtrodden RTU will attempt to hang on to the winning column at the expense of Aduana as PL life has not being favorable to them as they have lost two matches, two draws and one win thus far and have managed to pick up 5 points as they gallop lackadaisical on 14th spot, but they finally got their first win of the season against Berekum Chelsea, and they will try to replicate that performance against their visitors.
Paa Kwasi Fabin and his 13 points first placed squad will be in the hunt for the maximum points as they’re being chased closely on the log by never-giving-up Accra Lions with just a point.
A surprise package fixture that does not need a big analytical analysis as both sides have an appetite to pull a huge surprise.
However, expect the Ogya Lads to put up a strong performance. RTU will have to play well at home to win given their abysmal performance on the road, or risk putting themselves in a deep pinnacle hole.
Can the Pride of the North heap fresh misery on the Fire Boys and Paa Kwasi Fabin or will it be the other way around? Expect a good and a tough game as both teams try to bully their way to a road win.
KICKOFF: 1500GMT (3:00pm)
