Aduana Stars are ready to make a renewed attempt to sign long-term target Hafiz Wontah Konkoni, sources have confirmed to Kickgh.com.
Konkoni has been one of Fire Boys' top transfer targets and the Hunters came close to agreeing a deal previously before management of the club stepped in to block the move.
The former Bolga Stars midfielder has spent a large part of his career in Bechem United but left for Northern Cypriot side Merit Alsancak Yeşilova in 2018 before making a return to Bechem ahead of the of the 2019/20 league season.
Konkoni is now bent on leaving Bechem this month with Aduana and Nsoatreman both keen on the 23-year-old, who played a key role as Bechem finished third in last [2021/22] season's Ghana Premier League.
However, Kickgh understands that Aduana have now made an approach for Konkoni and the midfield dynamo is avid on playing for Paa Kwesi Fabin, with the Fire boss seeing him as the midfielder who will bring in stern competition in the middle pecking position in his team.
Meanwhile, 13th placed Premier League toddlers - Nsoatreman FC are also preparing a bid to bring in the player as they aim to maintain their top tier charge in the league.
