Hearts of Oak recorded their second consecutive draw of the season last Friday night against Aduana Stars in an entertaining opening fixture of 2024/25 Ghana Premier League match-week five.

Despite being reduced to ten men in the early stages of the second half, the 'Ogya' lads still managed to hold the 'Phobians' to a pulsating stalemate at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The visitors in fact, looked much more fearsome having came so close to scoring on numerous occasions but goalkeeper Benjamin Asare was so good on the night and his heroics especially in the second half kept the giants in the game.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Ivorian gaffer Aboubakar Ouattara has once again attributed the blame to his players and believes they lacked concentration in the course of the game.

"I told my boys at the training grounds that the match is not easy yet they lost concentration and I'm very disappointed because this is not how we play."

Hearts of Oak are currently sitting on the tenth position with five points and could drop based on the outcome of the subsequent games and will play newbies Young Apostles FC next away from home.
