Harry Zakour, former Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak has indicated that he hopes the team will avoid relegation at the end of the 2023/24 season.

The Phobians who are in precarious position play Bechem United at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday, June 16th 2024, with the Rainbow lads potentially being dragged into the relegation mix if they lose.

However, Harry Zakour has called for the club to show spirit to consolidate their position clear of the Ghana Premier League relegation zone.

"I am hoping that Hearts of Oak survive relegation. It is unfortunate to see the club in this challenging position," he said in an interview with Asempa FM.

"We have to leave everything to God and pray that the club survives relegation. The players must triumph over Bechem United to secure our place in the league."

"If the club remains in the Ghana Premier League, I believe Togbe should consider rewarding the players with a special winning bonus."
