Taylor commented, “I believe there is more quality at Black Meteors than Black Stars. Meteors is one step away from Black Stars so there are a lot of quality players there”
“These are the same players who are likely to fill the Black Stars in some years to come. But with this caliber of players, I can boldly say this is the worst under 23 I have ever seen in my life”
He further criticized the team, stating, “They lack quality and there’s no talent in the current of crop of players. None of the players does nothing special with the ball on the field and it’s really sad” he said.
Taylor's remarks highlight his disappointment with the performance and potential of the Black Meteors, as he believes they should be a strong foundation for future Black Stars squads.
