Free State Stars are awaiting the arrival of Emmanuel Clottey at the club for assessment under the team's new head coach Denis Lavagne.
The Ghanaian striker, who has been identified as a potential transfer target for Ea Lla Koto in this transfer window, has been invited for a trial with the team.
"Free State Stars are interested in Emmanuel Clottey from Ghana. He is coming here for a trial with the team," a source close to the club said.
"The club has booked a flight and all the travel arrangements have been made for him to come here for a trial. He is set to arrive before the weekend."
Stars scored only 28 goals and conceded a whopping 37 as they finished 12th on the Absa Premiership log last season, Ea Lla Koto have prioritised their search for a top striker to add to the squad for the upcoming campaign.
