Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah will today begin his first preseason training session with Juventus at their training facility in Vinovo ahead of their 2016/2017 league campaign.

The 27-year-old versatile midfielder is among the 29 list of players released by their gaffer Max Allegri on their official website to report to training this afternoon.

Asamoah endured a torrid time due to his recurrence knee injuries with the Bianconeri's outfit in last season's league campaign,a plight that kept him sidelined for most part of the top-flight season.

The former Udinese man will be hoping for an injury free season in order to prove his mettle in coach Allegri's side.

Asamoah, who has been heavily linked to London-based Chelsea this summer, missed the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea where Ghana placed second.
