Ghana international Osman Bukari has pledged to give his all for his new club, Austin FC.
The skilled forward completed his transfer from Red Star Belgrade to Austin FC on Thursday, May 30.
In his first interview with the MLS club's media team, Bukari expressed his enthusiasm and commitment to his new team. "I am very motivated and excited to join Austin FC. I want to do everything I can to help this team, this city, and this fanbase to achieve their goals," Bukari said, as quoted on the club's website.
Austin FC confirmed Bukari's signing in a statement, noting that he has agreed to a three-and-a-half-year contract. The deal awaits the receipt of Bukari's International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 visa.
"Austin FC announced today that the Club has reached an agreement with Red Star Belgrade for the transfer of 25-year-old Ghanaian international winger Osman Bukari. Bukari joins Austin FC as a Designated Player on a three-and-a-half-year guaranteed contract through the end of the 2027 season with an option for 2028. The deal is pending receipt of Bukari’s ITC and P-1 visa," the statement from the MLS club read.

In response, Red Star Belgrade posted a heartfelt message, saying, "And you will hold a special place in our hearts. Thank YOU for everything Buka, it was a pleasure watching you play."
