The Black Stars of Ghana will open camp in Abu Dhabi, UAE on November 10, 2022 ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will be held in Qatar later next month.
Coach Otto Addo is yet to announce his provisional man squad ahead of the Mundial and about 35-55 Ghanaian are expected to make the first phase of the list.
The technical team's request to hold preparations in the United Arab Emirates got approved in August and the team will regroup for the third time in Abu Dhabi for a pre-tournament preparations in the last ten years.
Abu Dhabi has an ultramodern training facility to help the Black Stars prepared themselves adequately and also acclimatize and have fair idea about weather and everything before they proceed to Qatar for the main tourney.
Just four days in Abu Dhabi, the provisional list will be trimmed down to the final 26, who will face Switzerland in the last friendly on November 17, 2022
Ghana is housed in Group H of the World Cup alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
The tournament commences on November 20, whiles Ghana face 2016 European conquerors Portugal in their first game in four days time.
