Kumasi Asante Kotoko returns home on Wednesdays at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium after picking a point in Techiman in match week sixteen (16) to take on league leaders Wa All Stars in what is tagged as match of the week. A good venue for both clubs to continue to give out exhilarating football to their fans.

A venue that has not been a fair grounds for Kotoko has seen them drop vital points in the early exchanges of the league under sacked coach David Duncan has turned to be a waterloo and almost a fortress for visiting teams under interim manager Michael Osei who has accumulated more points than any other manager after he took over in week seven (7) of the league.

Coach Michael Osei is beginning to have a commanding authority on his team in churning out results at home in a fashionable manner since taking charge after his predecessor failed to produce the results at home needed for the club to win the league trophy again.

The Krobea side are having an enviable record against All Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium yet to lose a game against them. Playing All Stars on the seventeenth (17th) league fixture will be a different ball game all together as Kotoko have not played All Stars leading the table before.

The porcupine warriors will be having it at the back of their mind of getting the league trophy in their cabinet again this season and returning back to African Club Competition as they were predicted to win the league by distance but had a poor start to the season.

They already have in their cushion twenty-seven (27) points on the third position and winning this encounter will push them upwards and will close in the dichotomy between them and their opponents who occupies the top spot.

With Wa All Stars having a different mindset in this season's league having the aim of winning the league as their remote target which has been a news to all, playing Kotoko should be an important step to achieving their target at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium by returning to Wa with all three points.

Even though they have not been that good travellers on the road, Wa All Stars will be in to give it all in order to cement their position atop the league log and enrich their main target of winning the league for the first time.

They will eschew and forget their bad precedence over the past few years at this venue against Kotoko and come in with renewed faith and strength to achieve their ultimate aim of getting winning the league starting by beating Kotoko.

Having their winger Emmanuel Gyamfi moving to the opposite side in the red shirts, Wa All Stars almost have their squad in full to face Kumasi Asante Kotoko and will exude all venom to weaken their opponent to get results having coach Enos Adepa as their coach.
