The Ghana Football Association executive committee has demoted eight Premiership referees to the GN Bank Division One League, Kickgh.com can exclusively report.
The report which was presented by review committee of the Referees Appointment Committee have decided to relegate referees who have shown abysmal performance in the top-flight to the Second-tier League in the second round.
Kickgh.com close source has revealed that the list includes; Referee Prosper Addy, Samuel Yeboah Kyere, Jonathan Tetteh, Amofa Sarkodie, E.R. Binney, Samuel Gyasi , Theresah Berimasu and Ernest Barfi .
Also, Fifa referee Seidu Bomison and Dawud Wadrigo are set to lose their FIFA barge because they misconducted themselves in some international matches assigned to them in which they were sanction by FIFA.
The Football governing body of the country are still in talks with the Referees Appointment Committee to reduce the number of match officials in the Ghana Premier League.
