Edmund Ackah, General Manager of FC Samartex, has confirmed that Nurudeen Amadu will spearhead the team’s campaign in the upcoming CAF Champions League.
The Timber Boys secured their place in the 2024/25 CAF elite tournament by winning the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, officially clinching the title with two games remaining in the season.
Ackah emphasized their unwavering faith in head coach Nurudeen Amadu as they prepare for their first African campaign.
"Nurudeen Amadu will lead us in our Africa campaign," he told Asempa FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com. "We have confidence in him and with the work he has done for us as a club, we are happy and he will lead us in our CAF Champions League campaign.
"He has the experience we are looking for and with the material at his disposal, we are confident in him," he added.
FC Samartex concluded their triumphant season with a total of 61 points.
