Samartex forward Baba Musah Hamadu has expressed confidence that his team will secure the Ghana Premier League title by the end of the season.

With only four games remaining, the Timber giants are leading the domestic top-flight standings with 55 points. Hamadu believes that with continued effort, Samartex can clinch the title.

Speaking to the media, Hamadu, who has played a crucial role for the Timber giants, shared his optimism: “Step by step we are getting there. We are working tirelessly toward winning the league, and Isha Allah, we are going to win it,” he said.

The 22-year-old forward has been outstanding throughout the season, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 29 games.

Samartex signed Hamadu, a highly-rated striker, before the start of the 2023/24 season from Division One League club Skyy FC. Previously, Hamadu played for Dreams FC and made a name for himself as one of the top scorers in the lower division. While at Skyy FC, he scored 20 goals, helping them secure second place in Zone Two of the Division One League during the 2022/23 season.
