The Black Starlets of Ghana will face Burkina Faso in the semi final of the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-17 tournament with their hopes of 'host and win' still alive.

The Starlets finished as winners of Group A with six points having won 5-1 against Cote D'Ivoire in the opening game before wrapping up the group phase with a 2-0 win over Benin last Tuesday.

However, they will now take on Burkina Faso who earlier today defeated Niger narrowly by 1-0, courtesy Latif Junior Diaby's first half goal to shoot themselves in the last four.

The Young Stallions had same number of points as eventual Group B winners Nigeria- whom they drew in the first game but had to settle on the second spot due to goal difference.

The winner of this semi final game will not only cruise into the final but will also book a spot in the next Africa U-17 Cup of Nations tournament.

The game is slated for this Saturday, May 25, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
