The Porcupine Warriors have officially announced their decision to withdraw from the off-season competition slated for next month.
Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have announced not to partake in this year's edition of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) competition dubbed GHALCA Top Six.
The club's official statement reads “We have this afternoon written officially to GHALCA, informing the welfare body of our decision not to partake in this year’s Ghalca Top Six tournament.”
“Our decision was purely based on sporting reasons.”

Earlier last week, the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) announced that the pre-season tournament will kick off from 14th August to 31st August 2022.
The tournament dubbed GHALCA Top Six will be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium according to the organizers.
The six Ghana Premier League clubs to participate in the tournament are Asante Kotoko, Medeama, Bechem United, Karela United, Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak.
