The 2021/22 season of the Ghana Premier League is set to grind to a halt with one match left as the various teams gears up towards it this afternoon leaving a rare 'shower and abundance of braces' in its trail and unsurpassed joy for players and fans alike whose teams will survive the looming threat of relegation that will go right down to the wire with at least six teams sitting on the cusp of relegation engaged in 'murky relegation mathematics' before the start of the match day that will see the coronation of Asante Kotoko (Porcupines) as the season's Champions.
In a match that had no relegation implications, Gold Stars dazzled and still showed supremacy over Aduana with a 1-0 win over their host at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro.
Michael Enu set the home side off on the winning path as early as the 14th minute with his solo stunner to win it for the Miners.
Players of Aduana however upped their game in the second half as they tried equalizing in added time but it really didn't matter as the die was already cast.
Gold Stars ended the match on a high note - tenth spot on 45 points whilst Aduana dropped to the 11th spot on 45 points after a more than decent start to the season with high hopes of finishing in the top 4 bracket.
