At Tarkwa, Medeama hanged on to their winning ways, handing Accra Lions bitter defeat of the season as they edged the visitors by two goals to one.
Rashid Abubakar opened the scoring for the visitors, but Gyanfosu Darlington leveled, before Vincent Atingah scored the winning goal through penalty to secure the maximum points for his side.
Medeama are second with 56 points with the win whilst Accra Lions are 12th on 44 points.
