Desmond Ofei, the head coach of Ghana’s U20 national team, the Black Satellites, has rejected assertions suggesting that his team is grappling with a goal-scoring dilemma following their goalless stalemate against Congo in the African Games Group A encounter.

Addressing the media post-match, Coach Ofei attributed the team's failure to convert chances to sheer misfortune, emphasizing their dominance in the second half.

"In the second half, we were dominant. I think we created more chances than the opponent and we should have been clinical with the chances we created. We had a bit of tough luck today," Ofei stated.

Contrary to concerns raised about their scoring prowess, Ofei remains confident in the team's ability to find the back of the net, emphasizing the need for improved timing in their attacking moves to avoid offside situations.

"I don’t think we have goal-scoring problems. We just have to put the ball into the net. The timing of our runs should be better to avoid offside. For us, we will keep doing what we are doing and definitely, the goals will come," he asserted.

As they gear up for their next challenge against Gambia on March 12, the Black Satellites are poised to maintain their approach, with a firm belief in their ability to break through defensively resolute opponents.
