Chris Hughton made his sincerest apologies to fans following a heavy 4-0 defeat to the United States in an international friendly.
The Black Stars were brushed aside in a ruthless fashion by the Yanks, forcing their head coach to shoulder much of the blame.
"I'm very sorry, and I take responsibility for the poor performance against the USA,” said Hughton to the media.
The 64-year-old then stated he's still the right man for the job, even after the embarrassment.
"If you ask me if I feel like I'm the right person for this job, the answer is yes."
