The teenage sensation of Ghanaian descent has completed his six-month loan deal with the Belgian top-flight outfit in the just opened winter transfer window
Belgian First Division A side K.V Oostende have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian teenager Pierre Junior Dwomoh from Royal Antwerp FC until the end of the 2022-23 football season.
The Diaz Arena outfit have said they have the option to make the loan deal of the 18-year-old permanent if he excels at the end of the ongoing league campaign.
''KVO has a new midfielder to snare: with Pierre Dwomoh (18) a great Belgian talent comes to the coast. He comes over on a rental basis from Antwerp and KVO also stipulated a purchase option,'' a statement over their loanee reads.
Club's president Gauthier Ganaye had nothing but full of praise for the talented winger having landed his signature for the rest of the season.
"Pierre is a unique talent. Which player can say that he already played Play-off 1 as a 17-year-old? We are therefore very pleased that we can bring him to Ostend. He chooses KVO because we give young players plenty of playing opportunities here and that is what he needs at this moment in his career, playing opportunity. He will of course have to work hard but after several conversations with him I am one hundred percent convinced that he is eager to prove himself here. So we have a very talented midfielder," Ganaye told his club's communications network.
Prior to his loan move to KV Oostende, Dwomoh signed a contract extension with his mother club Royal Anwterp FC.
The Mechelen-born talented attacking midfielder is still eligible to represent Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Belgium U15, U17& U18 national youth teams.
