The 21-year-old says he had different suitors vying for his services before he decided to link up with the German second-tier side following peptalk prior to his move this summer 

Ghana prospect Christopher Scott has revealed that he was a transfer target of many clubs but chose to join Bundesliga 2 outfit Hannover 96 after having a fruitful discussion over his future plans at the Niedersachsenstadion.

The former Bayern Munich ll youngster, who completed his season-long loan deal with the Die Roten earlier today, is convinced that the project at his new side will help his development in order to reach his full potential as a rising star.

Scott, owned by Royal Antwerp FC, spoke to his club official website over his decision to swap the Belgian Jupiler Pro League for the German Bundesliga 2 contest in today's deadline window: "I had different options, but after talking to those responsible at 96, I quickly made the decision that I wanted to go to Hanover."

"They tried extremely hard to look after me. In the discussions they showed me that where they see me and my strengths, but also outlined how they imagine my further development. That was very convincing. I'm looking forward to the team, which has a lot of boys my age, as well as some older ones like Ron-Robert Zieler and Marcel Halstenberg, whose experience you can benefit from as an even younger player."

Sporting director Marcus Mann has lauded his new captive over his promising talent highlighting his versatility on the field of play as an attacking midfielder.

"Christopher can be used flexibly as a liaison player in the midfield center, in the ten-man position and in attack. He is characterized by an extraordinary dynamic in his actions. Through his speed dribbling he can provide impulses and give us further variability and additional in the offensive area "We have been following his path for a long time and are very pleased to have gained another U-national player for Hannover 96 in him."

Born and raised to Ghanaian parents in the city of Koln, Scott remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the Germany national youth teams.
