Former Legon Cities FC skipper, Jonah Attuquaye has joined Latvian topflight side FK Auda ahead of the upcoming football season in the North-Eastern European country.
The 22 year old is joining the Green and Blacks on a long term contract per reports, after a fruitful negotiations between both parties.
Official club statement on his capture reads; "Another footballer who joined 'Auda' is Jonah Attuquaye. The 22-year-old Ghanaian joins the Green-Blacks from his native Legon Cities FC, where he played both as a striker and as a winger.”
The mercurial winger has been amazing and established himself as one of the best players on the local scene. He's made 13 appearances for the Royals so far this season with two goals to his belt.
He forms part of the four African players unveiled at the Mezaparks Sports Village last Thursday and those include Sekou Sanogo, Abdoul Kader Traore and El Hadji Mane.
FK Auda will kickoff the new Latvia Higher League season this Saturday, March 11, and will host Super Nova in their opening fixture.
Jonah Attuquaye was an integral member of the Black Galaxies squad at the just ended 2022 African Nations Championship in Algeria.
