The 21-year-old attacker of Ghanaian descent has returned to his mother club following an unsuccessful loan stint with the Spanish lower-tier side this term
Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Arvin Appiah has ended his season-long loan deal with Segunda División side CD Tenerife and would head back to UD Almera in the LaLiga top-flight contest.
The ex-Nottingham Forest man's loan deal with the Chicharreros was supposed to end on June 30, 2023, but has now been cut-short given an uninspiring outings so far this season.
"Arvin Amoakoh Appiah (1/5/2001, Amsterdam, Netherlands) and CD Tenerife have concluded the contractual relationship that bound both parties until June 30, 2023," a statement from CD Tenerife reads.
"The attacker, on loan from UD Almería, played eleven games in the LaLiga SmartBank and two in the Copa SM el Rey with the blue and white shirt, adding an assist during his time with the Tenerife team.
"CD Tenerife wishes Arvin Appiah luck, sportingly and personally, in his next destination, while thanking him for the professionalism shown during his time as a blue and white footballer."
Having been born in the Netherlands and raised in England to Ghanaian parents, Appiah could still switch allegiance to represent Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the England national youth teams.
