The English top-flight campaigners have announced a contract extension deal with the talented teenager of Ghanaian origin this summer
Ghanaian teen Daniel Adu-Adjei has signed a long-term contract with English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth, the club have confirmed.
The 18-year-old blistering form saw him netting 25 times for the Cherries development side across all competitions during the 2023/24 football season.
"AFC Bournemouth are delighted to announce striker Daniel Adu-Adjei has put pen-to-paper on a new long-term contract at the club," an excerpt of a confirmation over the deal reads.
Right after putting pen to paper on the new terms, the English-born Ghanaian teenager had this to tell his club's official website; "l am really happy. I would like to thank God, my family, all the coaches for helping me to get to this stage.
“I am happy to score the number of goals I did. I think it’s probably the best goalscoring season I’ve had since I’ve been here. It was also really nice to cap it off with being named academy player of the year, as well as my first EFL goal.
“It’s nice to get that trust from the club, to secure my future. Hopefully I can repay it, it gives me the confidence to keep going, improving and pushing.
“It has been nice to get this reward and I just want to kick on next season."
Born and bred in England to Ghanaian parents, the forward remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level.
