The 20-year-old shot-stopper of Ghanaian lineage and the Hannover-based club are going their separate ways after being together for six seasons in the German lower division contests

German Regional League North club HSC Hannover have released German-born Ghanaian goalkeeper Kevin Ansu ahead of the forthcoming summer transfer window.

The young glovesman, who passed through the academy ranks of the HSC Stadium on Constantinstraße outfit, is severing ties with his mother club this summer after joining up with them at age 15 in 2020.

With his current contract set to come to a close on June 30, 2026, the Ghana-prospect goaltender would not be short of potential suitors given his young age as a budding last line of defence ahead of the next transfer window.

Per KICKER, Ansu together with his other five team-mates including, Luc Fender (25), Mico Schmidt (21), Colin Piepenbrink (21), Tayar Tasdelen (20) and Kai Bäte (29) were released by the German lowly division campaigners for the 2026-27 campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the upcoming goalkeeper could become a trusted safe pair of hands in between the sticks for the Ghana national football team at the international level in the nearest future.
