The fire-spitting Ghana FA man has poured cold water on claims that the 84-capped Black Stars midfielder has been put behind bars in the Gulf country

Ghanaian football administrator Samuel Anim Addo has dismissed reports that former Ghana international Sulley Muntari has been arrested in Dubai, with the midfield enforcer said to be ''safe and currently residing in Dubai, where he is focused on his personal affairs and business activities''.

The purported arrest reportage that gained currency in the west African nation raised eyebrows among football fans given the reputation of the former lnter and AC Milan ace with the four-time African conquerors.

Nonetheless, the former Young Apostles supremo has now moved swiftly to calm nerves thereby refuting those reports by branding them as ''false'', with the public urged to disregard them having served notice of a legal action against the media outlets that publicised the news if they fail to retract and apologise over their misinformation.

The tough-talking business manager of former Ghana international icon Asamoah Gyan stated on his verified X account (formerly Twitter): ''Sulley Muntari is safe and currently residing in Dubai, where he is focused on his personal affairs and business activities.”

He continued: ''We urge the public to disregard the false reports circulating in the media. The outlets responsible for these publications are hereby warned to retract their statements and issue an apology. Failure to do so will result in a legal action by Sulley Lawyers.''
