The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Nurudeen Amadu Ahmed as head coach of the national U-19 boys’ team.
Ahmed, the current boss of Ghana Premier League side Karela United, will lead preparations for the next cycle of youth competitions.
The 54-year-old guided FC Samartex to their first-ever league title in 2023/24 and has also managed Aduana Stars and King Faisal.
PAC Academy’s Abubakar Adams has been named assistant coach, with former Ghana Premier League goal king Eric Bekoe joining as athletic coach. Ex-international Eric Gawu will serve as equipment officer.
Other appointments include Stephen Ekow Davies as goalkeepers’ coach, Fatawu Mohammed as welfare officer, Dr Yusif Andani as team doctor, and Prince Deku as physiotherapist.
The GFA says the technical team reflects its strategy to strengthen youth development and build a pathway for future national stars.
