The Ghanaian legend believes the duo could lead the four-time African champions to their fifth continental glory considering the telepathy that exits between them on the field of play
Mohammed Kudus and Ernest Nuamah have what it takes to lead Ghana to end their over four decades trophy drought in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Ivory Coast next year, according to Ghana international legend Mohammed Polo.
The Black Stars duo - groomed at Ghanaian-based Right to Dream Academy - have been splendid for the men's senior national team in recent days after both registered goals in the just concluded AFCON qualifiers and friendly game against Central African Republic and Liberia respectively.
However, their mouth-watering display coupled with their telepathy on the field of play has left the 1978 Nations Cup winner impressed and has tipped them to lead the country to the promised land in the next continental showpiece come January 2024 in lvory Coast.
"The telepathy between these two players could propel Ghana to AFCON success in Cote d'Ivoire and would have a massive impact on our bid to qualify for the next World Cup," the dribbling magician as affectionately called during his active playing days told Newspaper Ghana News Agency
" lt is very rare for Ghana to have these kinds of players on one team at a time, but we are blessed to have this duo who are not just creators but scorers," he added.
