Ghana's Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams has urged the nation to throw their full support behind the Black Stars ahead of their final two 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
The Black Stars will first face the Central African Republic at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknès on Wednesday, October 8, before returning home to Accra to host Comoros in their final qualifying match.
Speaking ahead of the decisive games, Adams commended the team’s effort and commitment during the qualifying campaign, saying he was confident they could deliver when it matters most.
“Our Black Stars have shown incredible determination and skill throughout this campaign,” he said.
“I am optimistic about their ability to secure qualification and bring glory to Ghana. With your support through prayers, cheers, and positive thoughts, we can lift their spirits and motivate them to succeed.”
The Black Stars remain in contention for a place at the 2026 World Cup, with their final two fixtures set to determine their qualification fate.
