The Vision Foundation, on behalf of the Ghana Premier League club Vision FC, has donated to the Manhean Polyclinic located in Tema New Town.

Medical supplies were donated to the Polyclinic's maternity section on Friday, October 4, 2024. 

Representatives from the club, the foundation's president and executives, players, and members of the technical team of the club were all present at the ceremony. 

Mothers' mattresses, cleaning supplies, and air conditioning to relieve the maternity block discomfort were among the provided goods. 

At the polyclinic maternity block, the foundation also covered a portion of the patients' expenditures.

The donation forms part of the club's community engagement plans having embraced the town as their home following their promotion to the Ghana Premier League. 

The polyclinic staff accepted the donation on behalf of the medical center and thanked the Vision Foundation and Vision FC entourage for their generosity and support.

"We decided to find ways to improve certain aspects within the community we exist. One of the ways we have decided is to do it through education and health," said Kwame Amin Baffoe who is the Project Lead for Vision FC.

He also added the donation is the start of several works the team will undertake as part of their corporate social responsibilities.

Vision FC have had impressive debut campaign in the Ghana Premier League since promotion and they have picked five point from four matches. 

Coach Nana Agyemang's side will host Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League match-week five fixture at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Sunday.
