The owner of Ghana Premier League outfit Young Apostle, Peter Domfeh has charged Asante Kotoko to continue participating in the Ghana Premier League.

Domfeh's remarks comes after the recent violence which resulted in the tragic death of a Kotoko fan, Francis Frimpong, known as Nana Pooley.

Reacting to the incident, Kotoko have revealed their pullout from the GPL in a bid to press for justice for their beloved fan.

“Ghana Premier League will be lifeless without Kotoko and Hearts of Oak. We all thrive on them. Therefore, Kotoko shouldn't quit the league. These two clubs command a lot of fans so their absence will have a negative effect on the product,” he told Kessben FM.

Meanwhile, in a combined statement Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are striving for improved security at the match venues to avert future mayhem.

Due to what happened, the GFA has put on hold the Ghana Premier League matchday-20 fixtures for the weekend.
