Former Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Harry Zakour has voiced worry about the club’s present situation.

The Phobian Club has struggled this season, and with only one game remaining in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, the Rainbow Club fears relegation. They must win their final match to keep their Premier League status.

In an interview with Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, the experienced football executive admitted to losing sleep over the club’s terrible performance.

“The current situation of Hearts of Oak is concerning. This isn’t the Hearts of Oak I know. “This is a club with a long history, once ranked as the eighth best in the world,” he said.

“We need to modify the way things are run. It’s upsetting to see the club in this state. “I am deeply unhappy with the current state of Hearts, and it keeps me awake at night,” he continued.

Hearts of Oak will play Bechem United on Sunday at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
