Dreams FC striker, John Antwi has popped up on the radar of Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko who are willing to secure his service ahead of the new season, per reports in the local media.

There has been earlier reports that the Porcupine Warriors are most likely to lose the service of their Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala at the end of the ongoing season.

With the player's contract set to end very soon, the club has made series of efforts to extend his stay but his camp has been reluctant and is still not confirmed whether he will stay with the Kumasi-based side or not.

However, the Reds have an alternative already having set sights on experience striker John Antwi should Mukwala leave at the end of the campaign.

The 31-year-old joined the 'Still Believe' lads prior to the start of the season and has 12 goal-involvements in all competitions; having netted 9 goals and registered 3 assists.

Asante Kotoko will host Bofoakwa Tano FC in the final round of matches on Sunday, June 17, 2024.
