Nsoatreman FC forward Stephen Diyou has identified Berekum Chelsea's Lord Amoah as the toughest defender he faced during the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League saeson.
The two club's clashed twice in the Premier League last season - with Nsoatreman winning 1-0 in the first encounter, while the second fixture ended in a thrilling 0-0 draw at the Nana Amoah Koronmansah II Park.
In his debut top-flight season with Nsoatreman, Diyou made a significant impact, often causing problems for opponents as a starter.
Reflecting on his encounters, Diyou highlighted 21-year-old Lord Amoah's strength and defensive prowess, even though he encountered many formidable defenders in the Premier League
Speaking to Wontumi FM, Diyou said: “Lord Amoah is the toughest defender I faced in the just ended season. It was difficult playing against him."
