Sadick Adams, a former striker of Asante Kotoko has brutally criticised Prosper Ogum, and doubted his prowess as a coach.
The educational colossus is under pressure after Kotoko's sixth-placed finish last season - and three straight defeats of this campaign.
And Adams, who had one spell at the club before leaving for Lebanese side Shabab El Bourj SC, questioned Ogum's mentality.
"I thought they said he is a good coach. Last season did not go well, and this season too? I can’t deal with Doctors or Professors who are coaches. Those coaches talk like they are teaching in school," he said.
"Coaches who are lecturers should lecture in school and stop coaching. It is different lecturing in school and dealing with players. Lecturing players will not work because they are professionals," he added.
In his two-year first spell at Kotoko, Adams scored a lot of match winning goals in his first season. Mostly through penalty kicks. But what most Kumasi Asante Kotoko fans will remember him for is his first half hat trick against rivals Accra Hearts of Oak (during the 2017 MTN FA cup in Tamale which Asante Kotoko won by 3 goals to 1) - before transferring to Shabab El Bourj in 2019.
Currently, Asante Kotoko are 6th with 15 points in the league standing after 10 rounds of matches.
