Asante Kotoko coach Abdul Karim Zito is very much aware of how appalling they have been recently and has now set sights on nothing but a win this time mainly to return on winning ways and also make their supporters smile again.

The Porcupine Warriors missed out two weeks in the FA Cup round of 64 and will return today to battle it out against Future Stars in what will be a very tricky encounter in Ejisu.

Given that their sworn rivals Hearts of Oak have already exited the competition by losing to minnows, the Reds will be very cautious and approach the game with so much seriousness in order to avoid a defeat and advance to the next round.

Kotoko are now winless in their last four matches with their last game ending in a narrow defeat away at Hohoe United which means today’s game is so crucial.

Speaking ahead of the game, the experienced gaffer says he’s spoken to his players and are desperate to win today to turn things around.

"It is a fact most every match we will play the club motivates itself to play against us. We also things are not going well for us we are motivating ourselves that we wont allow this to continue," he told Asante Kotoko TV

"We can do it so we have to do it so that is our motivation factor now. But we have to come all out and win this game to at least put a little smile on the face of our supporters because I am very worried about them. They have the right to tell us everything because Kotoko never let us lack to be honest with you.

"I was addressing them to tell me what they are lacking that didn't come from Kotoko so if Kotoko is doing all these for us we shouldn't disgrace them.”

The game is slated for 15:00GMT (3:00pm) at the Nana Afrane Okese Park.
