South Korea deputy coach Sergio Costa says his side suffered defeat to Ghana in their second group H game at the 2022 World Cup following referee Anthony Taylor's decision in the dying embers of the game.
Costa said the English referee denied them from a late corner-kick and later shown a straight red-card to coach Paulo Bento for questioning the decision.
South Korea succumbed to a very painful 3-2 defeat to Ghana in the second group game at the Education City Stadium- a loss which has thrown their qualification chances in limbo.
"We had the opportunity to have a corner kick, the referee took that opportunity away from us," assistant coach Sergio Costa said after the game.
"Paulo [Bento] reacted, I was close by and he said nothing that was inappropriate to the referee. It was a reaction from a person that felt a lack of fairness at the end of the match.
"It is a normal reaction from someone that did everything to win and didn't. We can feel sad and we can feel a lack of justice. We gave our souls on the pitch."
The defeat to Ghana leaves Taeguek Warriors bottom in Group H with only one point following their goalless draw against Uruguay in their World Cup opener.
