Germany is set to host the 17th edition of the European Championship when the league season terminuses. The Euro will begin on 14th June 2024 to find it's ending date to be 14th July, 2024.
The 2024 European Championship which would be held in Germany will have 8 countries who have won the trophy, 8 countries who were runner ups in the previous Euro competition. Germany, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Denmark, France and Portugal all make it into the competition. England and Belgium who were runner-ups in the past competition also make it.
Twenty nations qualified through the automatic pattern. Ten countries who have either won the trophy or runner up medals make it this time as well as Scotland, Croatia, Hungary, Switzerland, Albania, Denmark, Serbia, Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Turkey and Czech Republic.
Germany as the host with automatic qualification whilst 12 countries who placed best in the Uefa Nations League but did not qualify for the Euros compete for three slots. They are arranged in three groups. In Group A, there is Poland, Wales, Finland, and Estonia. In Group B, there is Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine and Iceland and in the final group has members to be Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan and Luxembourg. The playoffs will take place in March next year.

Nations With Trophies
Countries who have the European Championship glory are Spain with three titles which is the most. France and the reigning Champions Italy have won it twice. Germany, Denmark, Netherlands and Portugal winning it once. These are countries who qualified to the competition and have won the trophy before
Soviet Union,West Germany [twice], Czechoslovakia, Greece also won it in the past.
Noise around the Groups
Group B is said to be the Group of Death with Spain, Italy, Croatia and Albania in one group. In Group E, fans and football admirers are wondering why Belgium always seem to get 'easy groups' . England also from where they are can make the 2024 European Championship theirs after they lost in the finals to Italy on penalties in the last edition.
