Uruguay's veteran, Luis Suarez has stated categorically clear that, he will not apologize for the 2010 incident since he was punished for his actions and that, he didn't get anyone injured in the game.
The Black Stars have three points after two matches, having lost to Portugal on opening day but humbled South Korea last Monday to enhance their qualification chances.
However, the Sky Blues will need a must win against Ghana before they could make it from the first phase of the tourney, having grinded just a point from their opening two matches.
The last time both teams met at the World Cup was in 2010 at the quarter finals where the Uruguayans won on penalties.
However, the talking point after that game was Luis Suarez handling Dominic Adiyah's goal-bound header just on the line to deny Ghana their second during extra time- an incident which earned the West Africans a penalty but couldn't make it count.
With the two nations set for another Mundial showdown, the ex- Liverpool and FC Barcelona forward has reiterated that, he will not apologize for something he's suffered it punishment already and would have only done that if he got someone injured.
"The first time, I don't apologize about that. I take the handball- but the Ghana player miss a penalty, not me. Maybe I apologize if I injured a player but in this situation, I take a red card, the referee say penalty. Is not my fault."
The game is scheduled for 1500GMT on Friday, December 2, at the Al Janoub Stadium.
